About Us
AIM:
To coordinate sector transformation in respect of designated groups (i.e. women, youth and persons with disabilities) in line with government transformation objectives.
FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and manage sector-specific policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures wrt transformation in respect of designated groups within the sector
- Facilitate support for the empowerment of designated groups (women, youth, persons with disabilities, etc.) in the sector
- Monitor and advice on the implementation of special programmes initiatives focusing on designated groups (i.e. women, youth, persons with disabilities, farm workers, communities etc.) in the sector
- Identify sector related social improvement opportunities to ensure maximum participation of the designated groups (i.e. farm workers, communities etc.)
- Manage the development of a service delivery improvement plan for the sector
