To ensure the conservation and sustainable use of farm animal genetic resources (FAnGR) for food and agriculture

Function

  • To collect; store and characterize FAnGRs for food and agriculture.
  • To promote the value of FAnGRs
  • To coordinate surveys on the status of FAnGRs.
  • To conduct research towards long-term conservation and use of FAnGRs.
